Motorcycle Programme

Designed specifically for individuals who want to become the best motorcycle technicians in one of over 100 dealerships. You will have the opportunity to work on the entire range of motorcycles from the Vision 110 Scooter to the world famous CBR1000RR Fireblade and GL1800 Gold Wing Deluxe to the most revolutionary and innovative models, such as CBR600RR Super Sports machine. Surely it couldn’t get any better?

The Honda Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme lasts for three years, during which time you will be employed by your local Honda Motorcycle dealership and attend block training at the Honda Institute Technical Training Centre.

During your Apprenticeship you will receive first class support from a Honda Apprentice & Technician Development Manager and a work place mentor.

By the end of your Apprenticeship programme you will achieve:

    • Honda’s worldwide Maintenance Technician license
    • Automotive Skills Advanced Apprenticeship
    • Level 3 Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Competence
    • Level 3 Diploma in Motorcycle Maintenance & Repair Principles
    • Key Skills, Functional Skills, Core Skills or Essential Skills 
    • Level 2 Award in Knowledge of Employee Rights & Responsibilities for the Automotive Sector
    • The ‘Honda Challenge’, Personal Development Programme
    The training provided as part of the Honda Motorcycle Apprenticeship Programme will be focused around the service and maintenance of Honda motorcycles and will gradually build up to include repair and diagnosis techniques.
