Car Programme
You will have the opportunity to work with the most exciting cross-sector range of cars from the innovative civic petrol/electric hybrid car to the NSX super car and the high performance class-leading 201PS Civic Type-R and the awesome 240PS Honda S2000. And who knows what new models are about to appear?
The Honda Car Apprenticeship Programme lasts for three years, during which time you will be employed by your local Honda Car dealership and attend block training at the Honda Institute Technical Training Centre.
During your Apprenticeship you will receive first class support from a Honda Apprentice & Technician Development Manager and a work place mentor.
By the end of your Apprenticeship programme you will achieve:
- Honda’s worldwide Maintenance Technician license
- Automotive Skills Advanced Apprenticeship
- NVQ level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- Level 3 Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
- The Key Skills Award
- IMI Automotive Technician Accreditation
- IMI Membership
- The ‘Honda Challenge’, Personal Development Programme
The training provided as part of the Honda Car Apprenticeship Programme will be focused around the service and maintenance of Honda cars and will gradually build up to include repair and diagnosis techniques.
